Use Effective Natural Home Remedies for Rosacea

Rosacea is a skin disease. It is the condition of redness on skin. The facial skin, mostly the central region like the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin are affected. It usually affects the adults. The appearance is like that of acne.

It is a harmless condition of skin and is not contagious. Rosacea does not spread from one person to another by sharing or using the same objects. But is not a short term problem, it is a chronic disease. The red look is because of the enlarged blood vessels on face. It almost gives an appearance of a person blushing. People with fair skin are prone to getting Rosacea.

The cause may be genetic. Anything that stimulates the blood vessels and causes it to enlarge can flare up the condition. Some factors that can trigger it are alcohol, exposure to sun, wind, spicy food and temperature changes. Stress, anxiety and fear can also aggravate Rosacea. Certain medications can also result in the inflammation of the blood vessels.

The symptoms are primarily red bumps on the face. The nose, cheeks, forehead and chin are commonly affected. Visible red veins, irritated eyes, burning sensation on face, dry and sensitive facial area, swollen eyelids and red patches are some of the other symptoms. If this is not treated, it may worsen and in some cases affect the vision too.
