Since witch hazel has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities it will improve blood circulation and also help in quick healing of the bruise. Applying arnica cream on the affected area will minimize the bruises and heal them quickly.
St Johns Wort is one of the oldest home remedies for bruising. It has astringent and anti-bacterial properties. Just mix few drops of St. Johns Wort tincture with a cream or organic oil and apply it directly on the affected area.
Try consuming foods rich in vitamin P. Green peppers, lemon; rose hips and broccoli are rich in vitamin P. Eat lots of onion and garlic. Drink plenty of water or you can even try consuming soups and herbal teas. Stay away from dairy products, sugar, white flour, sweet fruits and processed foods. You should avoid alcohol and smoking.
